Competency Profiles

The criteria in Standard 6 of the OTA & PTA EAP Accreditation Standards reflect the minimum entry level competencies (knowledge, skills and abilities) expected of students upon graduation to fulfill the role of occupational therapist assistant and physiotherapist assistant. Development of these criteria was informed by Competency Profiles published by the National Physiotherapy Advisory Group (NPAG) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
